A few friendly tips to help make your time with Santa Pat as smooth and memorable as possible.
Due to an agreement with the FAA and NASA, Santa can only fly his sleigh on Christmas Eve! He'll be driving a vehicle to your event and will need a parking spot — ideally close by and out of view of attendees. Let him know the location ahead of time.
Santa's Head Elf can't make it to every event, so having someone appointed to meet Santa Pat at his parking space helps him get in quickly and safely.
If you'd like Santa Pat to hand out gifts, have them ready in a location where he can stash them in his sack before his grand entrance — or have your Head Elf provide them beforehand.
Avoid a light source or bright spot (windows, mirrors, plain white walls) behind Santa during the day — Christmas trees make the best backdrop! For indoor or after-dark photos, avoid reflective surfaces that could catch a flash. A simple armless chair with room around it works best.
Santa's suit is designed for the North Pole, not Southern California! Please keep his seating area away from heat sources.
